Ruby Young Elementary

Dear Parents,

We are going on a field trip to the Dallas World Aquarium located at 1801 N. Griffin Street Dallas, TX 75202 on Thursday, April 21, 2016.  During this trip, we will experience the rainforest habitat along with many different and exotic animals.  We are leaving the school promptly at 10:00 a.m. and returning to Ruby Young Elementary at approximately 2:00 p.m.

The cost per child is $12.00 which includes admission into The Dallas World Aquarium and the cost of the bus if your child hasn’t paid all 3 payments of his/her Kindergarten Budget. If your child has paid all 3 payments of his/her budget there is no fee because it’s included.  The deadline for the cost of the field trip is no later than Friday, April 1, 2016.  No money will be accepted after this date.

As always, we would love to have parents join us!  We are only allowed to have chaperones that have completed the volunteer form and been cleared by the district.  The cost for an adult chaperone is $20.95 for The Dallas World Aquarium.  If you pay in advance by Friday, April 1, 2016 the cost is $15.95.  If you would like to attend, please fill out the appropriate section on the bottom and return it to your child’s teacher with the money.  Also, please sign and return the permission slip required by the district on the back of this page.  

We are sorry, but no siblings or other children are allowed to come along on this Kindergarten trip.   Chaperons are NOT allowed to ride on the bus to and from the aquarium.  You may however, carpool with other parents or follow the bus.
